Crafting Therapy

Marian: As a child, I loved scrapbooking, pottery, sewing and art. As a teenager, I sewed many dresses by hand for friends and myself. I took up cd crafting whilst I was working in IT in the financial industry. Over the last 20+ years crafting has become an all absorbing hobby of mine after my husband suggested I needed a hobby. Our house is full of craft materials and tools now!!! Initially I used to visit the USA once a year to purchase their wonderful crafting products. Now we are so lucky to have great retailers here whose products adorn my home. There are now multiple TV channels to watch and purchase from too. Over the years I have developed my craft making techniques and experience in using different products such as shrink plastic, die cutting, using UTE and embossing folders. I mainly make cards particularly bespoke cards for individuals and I run workshops. My interests are many and varied including drawing, painting, jewellery making, sewing and creating projects from various materials including MDF.
